Your data: where it lives, and for how long
Monitoring a signed-in journey means handling screenshots of authenticated sessions. So here is exactly what we do with them.
Where the checks run
The app, the API, the database and the screenshot storage are in Europe. Browser journeys run from the European Union. No monitoring data leaves the EU to be processed.
What a run contains
- The outcome of each step, its duration, and the network calls it triggered with their status codes.
- A screenshot, taken only when a step fails — never on a passing journey.
- A video of the failing journey, on the Pro and Business plans that include it.
A screenshot of a signed-in journey shows what the test account sees: a name, an address, a cart. That is why we recommend a dedicated test account rather than a real customer account — and why screenshots are only taken on failure.
Who can open them
The screenshot storage is not publicly reachable: reads go through the API, which checks that you belong to the workspace. One deliberate exception: the screenshot link inside an alert e-mail is signed and valid for seven days, so the on-call person can open it straight from their inbox without signing in at three in the morning.
For how long
Seven days on Free, thirty on Starter, ninety on Pro and Business, extendable in ninety-day steps up to four hundred and fifty. Past that, a purge runs every night at 3:15 Paris time: it deletes the screenshots and videos first, then the run records. There is no cold copy kept anywhere else.
Leaving with your data
Two exports from settings: run history as CSV, and a full workspace export as JSON. Deleting the workspace also happens in settings, by its owner: it asks for your password and a confirmation word, cancels the running subscription, then wipes everything. No ticket, no imposed cooling-off period, no e-mail to us.
